My wedding is in April 2009 and I have a LOT of work to do!
Are there any certain exersizes I should focus on? How long, how many days a week? How much of what should I eat and how often? What can I do to loose weight and tone myself with out loosing my boobs?
The equipment I have to work with:
Bowflex
Recumbant Bike
Weights & Bench (at friends house a block up the street)
10 lbs Medicine Ball

My suggestion to you is to check out a nutritionist and get started eating right. That’s going to be have your battle.

I am not a physical trainer but I have done my fair share of helping my friends and brides lose weight.

If you are out of shape, start small. The worst thing you can do is injure yourself at the beginning.

If you have a significant amount of weight to lose (I’d say anything over 25 lbs) then cardio will be your best friend. Your goal should be 30-45 minutest 3-4 times a week. The days you don’t do cardio work on toning.

I start out walking. It’s going to help build the muscles without all the compression that running puts on your joints. Walk for time, not for distance and while walking you should be able to hold a conversation. If you can’t you’re going to fast.

As for toning-there are several great tapes/DVD’s out there. I think my favorite is Walk Away the Pounds. My son loves doing it with me. It’s moderate cardio with some light toning.

Good luck!

I’m 5 feet 3 inches tall, rosy complexioned with sensitive, prone to outbreak skin, in good shape with a little extra fat on my tummy. I am willing to do anything but I want to look absolutely stunning on my wedding day. Could you give me a plan or some advice- like diet n fitness n all that jazz…

Best wishes!

My brother has asked me to be his best man at his wedding and naturally I said I’d love to.
the wedding day is getting closer, and everything is organised and under control.
Anyway…. we were training at the gym together last weekend and we were just chatting about the wedding and life in general while I was spotting him on the benchpress, nothing formal, just idle brother chat, anyway after we finished our workout and we are in the car on our way home his tone changed as if he was feeling nervous or guilty about something- thats when he asked me "would you mind growing your hair out for my wedding day mate?" at first I thought he was joking but he was absolutely serious! I’v had a shaved head since I was about 18, partly because it suits me and more recently because I’m a bit thin on the crown.
He’s never expressed any negativity towards my bald head before so I just knew his wife to be had put him up to it, which he later admitted, anyway i told him to f’ off and if its one of her majestys terms then I won’t even be at the wedding let alone be best man.
Anyone else think this is a bizzare and just plain rude request?

Er no. I think it’s fairly reasonable. She wants the wedding to be perfect and is afraid that your head will spoil the photos.

It’s traditional to humour brides at a time like this. If you’d find it difficult how about a trade off? say you’ll grow your hair as long as they (insert request).

There!

Everyone happy?

I have looked at over two hundred wedding cake/tops sights. I have found only two that carry Hawaiian cake tops and they were of poor quality. A heart shaped cake top or twenty-fifth anniversary cake top might work as well.
Thanks…

My mother makes cakes for a living. She gets all of her supplies through wilton. You could also check Ebay for something unique that wilton might not be carrying anymore. I am also not sure what else you might be interested in so I’m including a link to some sites that might aid you in your search, maybe those aren’t the ones you have checked yet.

any recommendations?pills?fitness program?weight loss program?etc.etc

This Diet will help you get started. You will lose about 10 lbs in the first week. It will shrink your tummy, and help you to cut back too once you have finished it. It really works. I lost 12 pounds in the first week. I ended up losing about 28 pounds and look great!!

Remember: This diet should only be followed for 7 days at a time, with at least two weeks in between.

Day One:
Fruit: Eat all of the fruit you want (except bananas). Eat only your soup and the fruit for the first day. For drinks- unsweetened teas, cranberry juice and water.

Day Two:
Vegetables: Eat until you are stuffed will all fresh, raw or cooked vegetables of your choice. Try to eat leafy green vegetables and stay away from dry beans, peas and corn. Eat all the vegetables you want along with your soup. At dinner, reward yourself with a big baked potato with butter. Do not eat fruit today.

Day Three:
Mix Days One and Two: Eat all the soup, fruits and vegetables you want. No Baked Potato.

Day Four:
Bananas and Skim Milk: Eat as many as eight bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk as you would like on this day, along with your soup. This day is supposed to lessen your desire for sweets.

Day Five:
Beef And Tomatos: Ten to twenty ounces of beef and up to six fresh tomtoes. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water this day to wash the uric acid from your body. Eat your soup at least once this day. You may eat broiled or baked chicken instead of beef (but absolutely no skin-on chicken). If you prefer, you can substitute broiled fish for the beef one one of the beef days (but not both).

Day Six:
Beef and Vegetables: Eat to your heart’s content of beef and vegetables this day. You can even have 2 or 3 steaks if you like, with leafy green vegetables. No Baked Potato. Eat your soup at least once.

Day Seven:
Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and vegetables: Again stuff, stuff, stuff yourself. Be sure to eat your soup at least once this day.

Cabbage Soup Recipe

6 large green onions
2 green peppers
1 or 2 cans of tomatoes (diced or whole)
3 Carrots
1 Container (10 oz. or so) Mushrooms
1 bunch of celery
half a head of cabbage
1 package Lipton soup mix
1 or 2 cubes of bouillon (optional)
1 48oz can V8 juice (optional)
Season to taste with salt, pepper, parsley, curry, garlic powder, etc.
Directions:

Slice green onions, put in a pot and start to saute with cooking spray.

Cut green pepper stem end off and cut in half, take the seeds and membrane out. Cut the green-pepper into bite size pieces and add to pot.

Take the outer leafs layers off the cabbage, cut into bite size pieces, add to pot.

Clean carrots, cut into bite size pieces, and add to pot.

Slice mushrooms into thick slices, add to pot.

If you would like a spicy soup, add a small amount of curry or cayenne pepper now.

You can use beef or chicken bouillon cubes for seasonings. These have all the salt and flavors you will need.

Use about 12 cups of water (or 8 cups and the V8 juice), cover and put heat on low. Let soup cook for a long time – two hours works well. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

I wanted to lose weight (what bride doesn’t?) but things haven’t quite gone as planned. I wouldn’t consider myself terribly overweight but I do have some extra baggage I could do without. I’m 5′4" and about 160 pounds.

I’m down to crunch time and really want to know realistically what I can do. I don’t have any ridiculous expectations like losing 25 pounds (my original goal) or something. But is 10 pounds attainable? What do I need to do? What goals should I set for myself?

By the way, I do NOT want to buy anything, take any strange supplement or go on some ridiculous crash diet. I want to do this correctly and healthily. I’m looking for diet and workout tips.

PLEASE do not post any useless links about acai berry or Hydroxy Cut or anything along those lines.

If you just cut down on sweets and switch to a healthier diet, that should do it!! Not only will you look better and be healthier, but you will feel better as well. Obviously, you want to cut out as much junk food, high calorie food, and fast food as possible. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Eating negative calorie foods such as celery is good too because you’re eating but you’re actually burning more calories by eating then you are taking in!! Also drink a lot of water. It’s good for you and it will help cleanse your body and fight away hunger. Sometimes you may think you’re hungry, but you’re really just thirsty and a few sips of water will make you feel better. =) Also, maybe just subscribe to a gym for a couple of weeks. Most gyms will give you a trial week or two, so maybe try that and just run on a treadmill for a couple of hours. Or you could just run around the neighborhood. Or even biking burns a lot of calories. Good luck and congratulations on getting married!!!

Email me your email address. I have some fan templates that I would be glad to send you.

can any one suggest me a daily fitness plan for one week.My sister’s wedding is on October.I neeed to reduce my weight.I am 5feet and 56kg.My age is 21 and im a female.
Thank you

try kickboxing aerobics or swimming mid-day and go for a minimum of a 45 minute walk-jog after dinner, don’t eat after 7, no dairy (use a calcium suppliment), lots and lots of water … you’ll get hungrier but don’t eat more … be sure you eat plenty of protein, too …

eat really small meals several times a day – big ones will give you "post meal pooch" which will make you look like you have a bit of a tummy …

good luck!

I’m trying to shape up for my wedding reception! We had a family-only wedding in May, and next May we’re going to have a big party for all of our friends. I know I’ve put on at least 10 pounds since the wedding… mostly due to being married to someone who could afford to take me out to eat once a week or so for a change!

Anyway, so I’m cutting out the sweets, focusing more on organic foods, and upping my intake of water and veggies.
